My name is Mary Smith and I was a passenger on the RMS Titanic. On my first day on the Titanic we went to our suite. Me and mom,Susan Smith are first class passengers. There are three classes, 1st, 2nd, 3rd on the Titanic. The 1st class passengers are the rich ones and the 3rd class passengers are the not so rich ones. After that I went on deck with my friends.We met the the captain.Captain Edward John Smith.He gave us a tour and told us facts like the Titanic was as tall as a twelve story buliding and that there were over 2200 people on board and that the Titanic was owned by the White star line.That night we went to dinner. They called dinner the lunoheon on the titanic. We ate in a huge dining room. The lunoheon menu included Fillets of Brill,Chicken A la Maryland,mashed or fried potato jackets(baked potatoes),custard pudding and a lot of other things. The next day I went swimming in the Titanic swimming pool. It costed 25 cents to get a ticket to swim. Then I went to the gymnasium. The gym had one of the first stationary bike.That night my mom and me decided to eat in the cafe. The following morning, My mother and I got up early for curch. The Titanic had its very own curch. After curch we went for breakfast at the cafe. When we were finished I went with my mom for tea at one of her friends room. It was alot of fun. We had tea, cookies, biscuts, and sandwiches.so far we have been on the Titanic for three days. When we where done, it was late so we went to bed. In the morning we had a really big breakfast with my friends and my moms friends. We all went to curch and then we had a great lunch. Then we layed out on the deck. It was very sunny and beutiful. We went to dinner that night. I had grilled mutton chops and custard pudding. In my room I read my book and drank my hot chocolate. Then all of a sudden I felt a huge lurch.I spilled my hot chocolate. My mom came running into my room. I was so scared. Then we heard a nock on our door. One of the officers came in and told us to put on our life vest and to go on the deck. We heard alot of running and crying out in the hall.so we grabed some of our things and went to the deck. We overheard people saying the Titanic was sinking. I hoped it was not true. we started to feel the hall tilt a little bit so we left and went to the deck. The officers started yelling women and chidren to the lifeboates. There were not enough life boats. all together the life boates can only fit 1,178 people and their were 2200 people aboard . we were waiting for hours so we desided to go grab our things. By the time we got to our room the hall was already filled with water and the halls where really slanted. we heard people screaming trying to survive to get in life boates. It was horrible. I grabed our things like money,blankets,and personal belongings. finally we got on a lifeboat and slowly went down. As we sailed away we saw the Titanics last moments before it disapeared beneath the waves. It was very cold out. The Titanic sank at about 2:20am. we were in the ocean for a long time. Then a ship called the Carpathia came and picked us up and all the other lifeboats. The cause of the Titanic sinking was that it hit an iceburg and it tore a hole into the ship and water came in. This tragitey killed about 1500 and about 705 people survived and was picked up by The Carpathia. After the Titanic sank my life changed.
